Answers to the questions we hear most often.
What counts toward my video allowance?
Your allowance is based on the length of the source videos you upload, not the number of clips PowerCut creates. Uploading a 20-minute video uses 20 minutes of your allowance whether PowerCut creates 5 clips or 15.
Does the Free plan renew every month?
No. New Free accounts include 30 minutes of video processing in total. If you signed up with a 60-minute grant, you keep whatever remains of it.
Will my Free exports have a watermark?
Yes. Clips exported on the Free plan include a small PowerCut watermark. Creator and Studio exports do not.
What happens when I use all of my monthly video allowance?
You won't be charged automatically for additional usage. You can wait until your allowance refreshes the following month or move to a higher plan.
How long are my clips stored?
Free clips are available for 30 days. Creator clips are stored for 6 months, and Studio clips for 12 months. We recommend downloading any clips you want to keep permanently.
What happens to my original uploaded video?
PowerCut may remove original source files after processing once they are no longer required to generate and edit your clips. Your generated clips remain available according to your plan's storage period.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. You'll keep access to your paid plan until the end of your current billing period.
